Totally located in the commune of Saint Julien, the vineyard of Château Lagrange extends over 118 ha of red vines in one piece planted on two gravel outcrops, facing north-south. The estate has a clay-limestone subsoil, a silico-gravelly soil, and the climate is temperate and oceanic. THE VINTAGE The wet and mild conditions of spring favoured the budding of the vines, not to mention an early vintage. Flowering fortunately took place during the driest week of spring. 2016 will be remembered as a vintage marked by exceptionally hot and dry summer conditions
